Budgeting & Indirect Rate Development for Federal Contractors

Federal Pricing Group specializes in comprehensive Budget Structuring, Indirect Rate Development, Provisional Billing Rate Proposals, and Incurred Cost Proposals, guiding Federal contractors through the requirements and regulations associated with cost reimbursable Federal contracting.

We understand the Indirect Rate Challenges
Federal Contractors face

Let's face it, doing Cost Reimbursable business with the Federal Government is not for the faint of heart! The Federal Acquisition Regulation, as well as Cost Accounting Standards and various DCAA publications, contain numerous requirements for Contractors holding flexibly-priced contracts.  It can quickly overwhelm Contractor staff based on inexperience with, or simply not enough staff to perform, all of the required business structuring and reporting necessary. Failure to follow all of the regulations and produce the required deliverable documents will adversely affect a Contractor's ability to do business with the Federal Government.

Federal Pricing Group can help! We have diverse expertise across contract types, program types, and cost accounting structures to help you organize your business structure for successful cost reimbursable government contracting. We can help organize your indirect cost bases and pools, and use that information to construct your Provisional Billing Rate proposal or Negotiated Indirect Cost Agreement (NICRA). In addition, within six months of completion of a Contractor's fiscal year, the Contractor is required to submit an Incurred Cost Proposal, and Federal Pricing Group can help with that activity as well. Federal Pricing Group has never submitted an inadequate Incurred Cost Proposal. Contact us today to learn how you can leverage Federal Pricing Group to achieve your goals in successful Cost Reimbursable Federal contracting.

Provisional Billing and
NICRA Rate Proposals

Federal Pricing Group helps clients establish Provisional Billing or NICRA rates for invoicing the government on flexibly priced contracts. We guide our clients through the process of building the appropriate tables and supporting information to ensure a smooth interaction with their cognizant auditing and management agencies. Federal Pricing Group will be there for every step, assisting clients throughout the process, working through any questions with the government agency reviewer until official approval of the indirect billing rates.

Incurred Cost Proposals

Federal Pricing Group has the depth of resources to assist in preparing your annual Incurred Cost Proposal. Federal Contractors holding flexibly priced contracts are required to submit an adequate incurred cost proposal within six months (FAR 52.216-7) of conclusion of their fiscal year. We establish a list of required tasks for each schedule, then work through the schedules with our clients in an efficient manner. Federal Pricing Group cross-checks across schedules to verify the submission will meet the adequacy requirements of DCAA. Federal Pricing Group has never submitted an inadequate Incurred Cost Proposal.
